Group Statuses

• Tentative: The group has not committed to book with the hotel.  This status may be assigned if the group’s arrival date is in the future.

• Definite: The group has confirmed it will stay at the hotel.  This status may be assigned if the group’s arrival date is in the future.

• Open: The group’s arrival date is equal to or prior to the current date in Chorum.

  • Definite groups are automatically placed in Open status during the night audit closing the date prior to the group’s arrival.

• Cancelled: The group has decided not to book with the hotel.

  • Once a group is cancelled it may not be reinstated. 

  • A group may only be cancelled prior to the arrival date.

• Closed: The closed status must be manually assigned to the group and may be done so after the group’s departure date and if the folio has no outstanding balance.
